All right, so I've done the impossible, and actually finished the second chapter of stealing fire. Yes, I'm surprised at me, too. Also, I've made significant changes to the first chapter, so please, please, please reread it before reading the second chapter, if you could, because the changes are really important.

Oh man... Summer's been busy for me so far, so I haven't been around dA much during June. I have basketball to thank for that, but all my camps are over as of this past week and Monday marks my last summer league game, so I should have more time for reading/commenting/writing soon. I do have weekday basketball workouts, a community play, and a church camp coming up in July, though. >.< Haha...

Just a side note... If anyone is a Shakespeare enthusiast, our community play is As You Like It. I got the lead female role of Rosalind, and I'm very excited. :dance: I love the theatre!

Huzzah for rewrites! With the novel I am working on, I never finished the first draft, nor the first edit before moving on to the second edit. THere are just so many little bits and peices that you find that you want or need to include after you post it, that you just want to scream! Or maybe it is just me. But you know it's like, 'I JUST MADE YOU PERFECT! WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT THIS NOW DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO ME?!' Yeah, that is me when I write....

And it's good to be busy, isn't it. I think when people have too much time on their hands, they start getting into too much trouble. ;) So, as much as I miss seeing you around, it's good to see you staying out of trouble. ;)

Sweet! Yeah, ours is a "Shakespeare in the Park" sort of thing, as well, but I've never heard of Shakespeare on the beach! That's so cool...

I know, right?? That's exactly what always ends up happening with me. Then again, maybe we're just perfectionists. :D Personally, I am an edit-obsessed maniac. I often get on the computer with the intention of writing and end up editing so much that I don't write a single new sentence! :faint:

Yes, actually, as stressful as being busy is, I like always having something else to do. I'm not the type who can just sit around all day and do nothing, you know? I have to get things done or else I feel like I've wasted too much time. And yeah, it does help to keep me out of trouble. As a teenager, that's probably a good thing, right? :D
